Share a note with a public link

Any note can be published to a public link. Anyone with the link can read it: no Caliu account needed.

Create a link

In the web app, open the note and click the share button in the note header, or choose Share from the note's actions menu. Click Create public link, then Copy link to grab the URL. You can also share straight from the command palette, which creates the link and copies it in one step.

The link looks like https://caliuapp.com/share/... and shows your note's title, content, and your name. Images and file attachments inside the note are visible too.

The link stays current

A share link always serves the latest version of your note. Keep editing as usual, and readers see your changes (the public page can take about a minute to refresh).

Make it private again

Open the share popover and click Revoke link. The link stops working immediately, and the note is private again. If you decide to share the note again later, it gets the same link as before.

Readers can never edit your note. Sharing is read-only, always.
