Your first note

Create a new note and just start typing. That is really all there is to it.

The first line is the title

Whatever you write on the first line becomes the note's title. It is what you will see in the note list, in search results, and in links from other notes. Make it a heading, make it bold, or leave it plain: Caliu always shows a clean, readable title in your lists.

There is no save button

Notes save as you type. Every keystroke is written to your device within a moment, and changes sync to your other devices in the background when you are online. You will never lose a word, and you will never hunt for a save button.

Where it lives

Your new note appears in All Notes. The list is sorted by last edited by default, so the note you are working on stays near the top. Pinned notes always stay above everything else.

When you are ready to organize, drop a tag like #ideas anywhere in the note and it will appear under that tag in the sidebar too.
