You can delete your Caliu account at any time. Before you do, export your notes: deletion is final and cannot be undone. See the export article for how to take everything with you.
How to delete your account
- In the iPhone and iPad app or the Mac app, open Settings, then Account.
- Choose Delete Account.
- Type your account email to confirm, then delete.
The confirmation step is the same whether you sign in with a password or with Google. If you only use the web app, sign in on one of the apps to delete your account, or write to hola@caliuapp.com.
What happens immediately
- Every device is signed out and your email can no longer sign in.
- All API keys, connected apps, and push notification registrations are revoked, and any Google link is removed.
- Your personal details (name, email, photo, password) are removed from your account record.
- Your notes stop syncing and are no longer reachable from any device, the API, or connected apps.
You can create a fresh account with the same email later, but it starts empty. For details on data retention, see the privacy policy.
