Caliu is a good place to drop things you want to keep. You can send content in from other apps without opening Caliu first.
From the iPhone and iPad app
Tap the share button in any app and choose Caliu. The Save to Caliu sheet accepts text, links, images, and files, even several at once. Pick a destination:
- New note saves everything as a fresh note.
- Append adds it to an existing note. Search your notes right in the sheet and pick one.
Text becomes note text, links become Markdown links, and images and files are attached inline. For text files there's an Add as note text toggle: Markdown files are inlined as note content by default, other files are attached.
Sharing works offline. The note is saved on your device immediately and syncs the next time you're connected.
On the Mac app
Drag content straight into Caliu:
- Drop onto the note list to create a new note from whatever you dragged.
- Drop into the open editor to insert it at your cursor in the current note.
Both accept text, links, images, and files, just like the share sheet.
