Notes evolve, and sometimes you want yesterday's paragraph back. Version history keeps snapshots of your notes as you edit, so you can look back and restore. It is part of Caliu Pro.
Browsing versions
Open View history from the note's menu. You will see a timeline of the note's life: when it was created, edited, trashed, or restored. Select any entry to preview the full content of the note at that moment.
To keep the timeline readable, edits made within a 5-minute window are merged into a single entry, so a burst of typing shows up as one version instead of fifty.
Restoring a version
Found the one you want? Choose Restore and Caliu replaces the note's current content with that version. Nothing is lost by restoring: the restore itself becomes part of the history, so you can always go forward again.
Good to know
- History is stored on the server, so browsing it requires an internet connection.
- Caliu pushes your latest edits before opening history, so the newest version is never missing from the list.
- Version history is available in the web app and in the iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps.
