Your notes are yours. Caliu exports them cleanly on every platform, and because notes are Markdown underneath, they stay readable anywhere.
Export a single note
Open the note's actions menu and choose Export as, then pick a format. The web app offers Markdown, Plain Text, HTML, and RTF; the iPhone and iPad app and the Mac app add PDF. See the export formats article for the full comparison.
Export many notes at once
Select multiple notes first:
- In the web app: Cmd/Ctrl+Click notes (or long-press on mobile), then choose Export selected in the actions bar. You get a single ZIP with one file per note.
- In the iPhone and iPad app and the Mac app: select notes and export from the bulk actions bar. This also produces a ZIP of individual files.
Where exports land
- Web app: files download through your browser, straight to your downloads folder. Export happens entirely on your device and works offline.
- iPhone and iPad app: the share sheet opens, so you can save to Files, AirDrop, or send anywhere.
- Mac app: a save panel lets you pick the destination. Exported files even keep the note's original created and modified dates.
